MODEL HUAC-KC-2002

Three-Channel OLTC Waveform Analyzer

Three-channel OLTC analyzer recording A, B and C phases at once: transition waveform, time, resistance and synchronism, with printer and 128 waveform memory.

  • Three independent channels record A, B and C phases simultaneously
  • Detects open circuits anywhere in the switching cycle
  • Waveform analysis of each transition segment
  • Connection through tap changer leads or bushings and neutral
  • Built-in printer; 128 waveforms kept after power loss
  • Aluminium-alloy case with strong anti-interference design
  • English user interface; English operating system available

Overview

The HUAC-KC-2002 measures and analyses the electrical performance of on-load tap changers in power transformers and special transformers. Three independent channels record phases A, B and C at the same time and capture the transition resistance and timing during each tap change.

Measurements can be made through the tap changer leads or directly on the transformer’s three-phase bushings and neutral. Dedicated function keys analyse each segment of the waveform for time and resistance. An aluminium-alloy case with power filters and anti-interference circuits keeps readings reliable in substations.

Frequently asked questions

Why three channels?

Recording all three phases at once shows the switching sequence and synchronism of the tap changer in one operation.

Where do I connect the leads?

Either to the tap changer leads or directly to the transformer’s three-phase bushings and neutral point.

Can I keep results?

Up to 128 waveforms are stored and kept after power loss, and can be transferred to a PC.
