Multi-channel cell discharge, charge and balancing for lithium battery packs in EVs, buses and energy storage: 1–4.2 V, up to 5 A per channel, touch screen.
The HUAC-885C solves one of the most common problems in lithium battery packs: cells that drift apart in voltage and capacity. It combines single-cell discharge, charge and balancing in one portable instrument, so a technician can test, charge and equalise many cells of a pack at the same time instead of one by one.
The instrument is built for packs in electric cars and buses and in energy storage systems, and for battery manufacturers, distributors and service centres. Each channel can be selected and started individually, with its own balancing voltage, so cells can be discharged to measure capacity, charged, or brought to a common voltage point. The instrument is available in 36-channel and 48-channel versions.
Operation is by a 7-inch high-brightness touch screen. Several charge and discharge cut-off thresholds prevent over-charging and over-discharging, and the instrument protects against over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current and reverse connection while monitoring cell temperature through dedicated temperature channels. It runs from a single-phase supply of 90 to 260 V AC and is mounted on castors for use in the workshop or on site.

Over time the cells in a lithium pack drift apart in voltage and capacity, and the weakest cell limits the whole pack. The HUAC-885C discharges, charges and balances individual cells so they return to a common voltage, which restores usable capacity and extends pack life.
Lithium battery packs in electric cars, buses and energy storage systems, with cell voltages from 1 to 4.2 V per channel.
Yes. Each channel can discharge its cell at a set current between 0.1 and 5 A to a cut-off voltage, which shows the capacity of each cell.
Up to 36 cells at the same time, or 48 with the 48-channel version. Each channel is selected and started individually.
