Overview
The HUAC-3136 determines the acid value of insulating oil by the extraction method, fully automatically, with a colour screen. It improves efficiency and accuracy while reducing the operator’s contact with samples and reagents.
Put the samples in the sample cups and place them in the instrument: it finds the samples, adds the extraction liquid, titrates the blank, measures, cleans itself, displays and prints the results. One start measures 1 to 6 samples. A standard acid and calibration program let the user calibrate the instrument and the neutralising solution at any time, and the instrument subtracts the background value of the extraction liquid automatically, for more reliable results.

Why measure the acid value of transformer oil?
Acids form as the oil oxidises and ages. A rising acid value is an early sign of oil degradation that attacks the paper insulation.
How many samples can it test at once?
1 to 6 samples per run.
Does the extraction liquid affect the result?
No. The instrument titrates a blank and subtracts the background value of the extraction liquid automatically.
