Overview

The HUAC-II is a power-on test bench for manufacturers of high- and low-voltage switchgear. Before a panel leaves the factory, it supplies the AC and DC voltages the switchgear needs, so the production and inspection departments can power it up and check that it operates correctly.

The bench combines voltage regulators, boosters, precision meters and contactors in one mobile cabinet. It provides several fixed and adjustable outputs: three-phase AC 100 V and 380 V, an adjustable three-phase current of 0 to 10 A, adjustable AC and DC operating voltages for the control circuits, single-phase AC 220 V sockets and fixed DC voltages from 12 V to 200 V. Ammeters and voltmeters on the panel show every output, and built-in protection keeps testing safe. The bench is designed to GB 14048 for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear and supports measurement and analysis of switchgear operating characteristics.
